Hey, I'm Jack — a video editor and photographer. I work across colour grading, fashion, portraits, and events .
I edit weddings, documentary-style films and social content. Colour is the part of the process I'm most drawn to as it's where a film finds its tone. It's also what I find most expressive in my photography.
I got into photography through music. Growing up, I became obsessed with how much a single image could say about an artist — the way a great album cover doesn't just accompany the music, it completes it. That connection is what pulled me in, and it's the same reason I'm drawn to colour; a good grade completes a film rather than sitting on top of it.
Whatever I'm working on, I'm looking for visuals with intention — every situation is different, but there's always a moment worth finding.
With portraits, what I'm really chasing is character. Anyone can make someone look good. What interests me is the expression that tells you exactly who that person is — the tension, the warmth, the thing that makes the subject unmistakably themselves. I bring the same eye to events. Every event has moments that define it — I stay close until I find them.
